Disney Peter Pan Jnr

 

We are delighted to be working alongside West End and Broadway star Earl Carpenter and his team to produce Disney Peter Pan Jnr at The Regent Centre. The show will be performed by children aged 7 to 18 years, working with a professional creative team, for FREE. The show will be performed on The Regent Centre's stage during December 2018.

In 2017, Ginger Boy Productions Limited (GBPL) committed £20,000 to its inaugural project ‘Scrooge’, a musical play based on Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" at the eclectic 160 seat Shelley Theatre in Dorset. 45 young performers of varying ability performed 12 performances produced by educational and theatre specialists, directed by former Head of Performing Arts at the Bournemouth and Poole College, Jo Barrington, and involved adult actors and other professional practitioners including, Earl Carpenter.

This year GBPL, in conjunction with The Regent Centre will provide another unique education initiative involving interaction at the highest level from current industry and academic specialists from the Musical Theatre industry.

A company of successfully auditioned performers aged 18 and under will perform the 60-minute musical Disney Peter Pan Jnr at The Regent Centre in Christchurch this December. A highly positive performance experience exploring and focusing on professionalism, confidence building through exploration and most importantly fun! An incredible project making all participants feel courageous, inspired and confident.

We are looking for young persons aged between 7 & 18 to play both leading and chorus roles in a unique opportunity to perform in the musical play, Disney Peter Pan Jnr in conjunction with The Regent Centre in Christchurch this December. 

Ginger Boy Productions Limited, needs enthusiastic, happy young people aged 18 and under to perform in this mixed ability, highly positive performance experience exploring and focusing on professionalism, confidence building through exploration and most importantly fun! An incredible project making all participants feel courageous, inspired and confident.

This education initiative is FREE to its participants and involves interaction at the highest level from current industry and academic specialists from the musical theatre industry, including Broadway & West End star, Earl Carpenter, who’s renowned for his work as Inspector Javert in Cameron Mackintosh’s productions of Les Misérables and the Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera

1.Availability: You must be able to rehearse Sunday’s from 9th September 2018 (see full schedule below) and perform at The Regent Centre, from 8th December until 15th December 2017 inclusive.

2.Please wear appropriate clothing for movement.

3.Please bring a recent photograph of yourself. 

4.You will be expected to sing an unaccompanied song of your own choice.

5.You must be 18 years of age and under (minimum age of 7 years old)
