ACCESSIBLE PERFORMANCES
Subtitled Film Showings: We endeavour to offer a weekly subtitled showing of our most popular films for those who are deaf, hard of hearing, or just prefer subtitles! Check out our upcoming subtitled screenings here.
Relaxed Performances: At a Relaxed Performance, changes are made to the show and auditorium to create a more accessible experience for some audience members, including people with sensory sensitivities, autistic people and people with learning disabilities. During a Relaxed Performance, house lights will remain on and people are free to go in and out of the auditorium during the show. Some technical changes may also be made to the show – this can include quieter music, reducing loud or surprising sound effects and avoiding strobe lighting.
BSL Signed Performances: This type of performance features a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter who interprets the dialogue on stage as it is being performed to aid those who are deaf or hard of hearing.
